Panasonic - Customer Service

After I spent some time crafting a letter and faxing it to Panasonic about my busted Plasma TV, I finally received a response 3 working days later - a Voice Mail.

"Please contact a local authorized Panasonic Repair Shop and have them diagnose the TV. You pay for it ($170 for a diagnostic fee) and then Fax it to Panasonic and we will let you know what we can do fo you. Thank you for choosing Panasonic"

So they want me to front the money and then let them decide if and how much they are willing to cover on the repair.

So much for Customer Service!
